About

Carol was born in Pittsburgh, PA; obtained her Bachelor's Degree at Nova Southeastern University; and obtained her Juris Doctor Degree in Durham, NC, passed the North Carolina bar exam and started her practice in Asheville, NC in 1990 where she still maintains a law practice.

She practices in all divisions of North Carolina State Court and is approved to practice in the United States Federal District Court and the United States 4th Circuit Court of Appeals. 

Carol accepts, but does not limit herself to the following kinds of cases:
  • Family Law, which includes divorce, child custody and support, alimony, division of marital property, adoptions, termination of parental rights and name changes. 
  • Civil Actions in small claims and district court, such as money owed, construction liens and lawsuits and personal injury.
  • Real Estate closings and litigation.
  • Traffic Citations and minor criminal charges.
  • Wills and Powers of Attorney

Carol has an office in downtown Asheville, NC close to the courthouse where she provides reasonably priced consultations during which she provides a lot of good advice regarding your situation.
